Solved! My mother board smells and my laptop refuse to on

I was using my laptop,then it went off.I tried to on it several times but it wont on it justs bink green light and stops.the mother board also smells

It sounds like an electrical component failure. You should have a PC shop examine it if possible.

Probably a blown capacitor. What brand and model, I will try to avoid recommending people that laptop from now on. If it is new and under warranty, you should get replacement of another model or even money back (tell them big safety issue). If out of warranty, then buy a new one. Don't trust that model and its mobo anymore after such a big blow out.
