My Laptop specs:

Asus F550JK-DM121H
Intel Core i5-4200H 2.8 GHz Dual Core
Max Turbo 3.4 GHz
8 GB RAM
500 GB HDD
NVIDIA GTX 850 - 2GB VGA
Microsoft Windows 8.1

My problem is that whenever I try to play 1080p HD videos on youtube, it gets extremely laggy and as soon as I go down to 780p HD it works fine but still lags a bit.
This is extremely disappointing as I expected it could handle this. I just bought it so u can guess Im pretty pissed about it!

Can anyone please give me an idea of whats goin on???

It has to do with your internet connection. You can try to pause the video and let it buffer for a bit and hit play again after you see the progress bar making some ground. What is you speed?

Hey guys thanks for the reply. Its not the internet, I'v tried it with a couple videoz and this happens even when their fully loaded.

I'v noticed something else tho, it doesnt occur when Im plugged in to power, but starts as soon as I pull out the plug. Could it be battery settings messing with performance?

The computer automatically shifts "Power4Gear" battery setting when its plugged on with minimal processor ability at 100% and only 5% minimal processor ability when on battery.. dont know if this has anything to do with it????
