My older rca tv has no picture just loud noise

I booked up DVD surround sound and couldn't get a picture on tv so I unplugged the dvd and now can't get a picture just loud noise

if you can from the front of the tv see if there an input button. try changing the input see if it go to a blank screen. google the model of the tv see if the tv has a hard reset.
