My pc has a mic jack thats much smaller then the audio jack

I just got a HyperX Revolver hedsets and it has one for audio and the other for mic but my pc has a 3.5 mm audio jack but the mic jack is much smaller.

I got a splitter and pluged it in the audio jack but it didin't work

And my pc does not recognize my hedphones and they don't show up on the recording device window

I have a lenovo ideapad Y700

Someone help me please

Your laptop has an 'audio combo jack' which means it combines one socket for both headphones and mic.
