My PC has been hacked

All my email accounts and location on my pc show another city and state and I can't change this it's on an old pc with XP

That doesn't necessarily mean you've been hacked. How far away do they say?

IP-based geolocation isn't particularly exact. It's several hundred kilometers off for me.

it's about 800 miles away I'm in NC it shows up as Ohio

Two different IP checking tools have shown your IP as being in Ohio and Missouri.

This appears to be just a case of poor information in people's databases. Nothing to worry about.

Interestingly, the DNS name for the IP shows up correctly: cpe-104-139-###-###.carolina.res.rr.com

Trying to work out where someone is based on their IP is a bit like looking at a name or license plate - you might get close, but not always.

Yup, this is because everyone thinks you're accessing their servers from Ohio.

Tom's security interrupted and vaporised my original post. It boiled down to whether you use an internet proxy or VPN. If not, call your ISP and discuss it with them. They'll know what your router is doing. It's probably OK. Even with a fixed IP, my machine shows me in London, UK, 250 miles away.
