my pc wont work

Hi I have my pc hooked up to my my tv and I was in the settings playing around with resolutions when the screen went black and said not supported I've tryed to press f8 and put it in safety mode but there is no option to do so please help

hi there try to get into the command line either by the windows insall disk or safe mode with command prompt then just type this command QRes.exe /x:800 /y:600 and it will set the resolution to 800x600 then boot in to windows and use the recomended resolution and should be all fixed hope this helps

How do I get to the insall or the safe mode

either put in you windows install disk and press shift and f10 or just turn off you computer by holding the power button in and it will come up with safe mode, safe mode with networking and safe mode with command prompt then select safe mode with command prompt and your in the command line or just get a LCD monitor hook it up to your pc it should be able to handle the resoultion then drop the res' and connect back to yout tv and it should work
