contact your service provider and see if they can remotely access your phone's location.

1| contact phone operator and inform them of your loss
2| mention that you'd like it to be retrieved, but pretty much at that ^ point they will already be posting an alert on the APB.

If and when the phone is switched on, the phone will pop up on their scanner and the authorities will be mobilized
