My phone won't charge!

Hi. I have a problem with my phone Sony Ericsson R800, more exactly, i have a Xperia Play. I know it's so old, now i have a Samsung Galaxy S4, but i really like that Xperia Play. So, my phone won't charge, i don't know what is his reason.A thing is, the light (that on the power button) says is charghing but no way, the level of the battery don't raise anymore. Please help me if you knwo a solution. Thanks

Sounds like you have a dead battery that can't hold a charge. Just replace the battery.

Hey sir,i have the same problem. did the new battery fix it? i have an xperia play and the light at the top flashes red but stays there and doesnt charge.
