Solved! my pioneer cld-1070 will not play disc

my laser disc turns on, put upon pressing play nothing happened. the pay number goes to 000

After 29 years it finally died. They don't build them like that anymore. RIP
You could get it checked by a tech and hope it's a belt but it won't be free to find that out. Other parts will be long out of production.
