My Razer Kraken mic won't work on my new PC that I built

My Krakens worked on my laptop by just plugging them into the right slot.
Whenever I put my Krakens into my PC's headset slot the sound works, but the mic in the Recording devices does not appear. When I plug it into the mic slot it appears, but the microphone does not work and so doesn't the audio. You can't hear nothing at all. I tried putting in my earbuds to see if my mic audio would appear there, but it didn't.

I'm really confused and this is the only flaw that I've had so far. It would be well appreciated if anyone can help me out!

Hey, I think I solved it. I had it plugged in to the front slot of my computer and not the rear. I also had to buy a splitter so I can make the one audio jack into two.
