My Samsung s3 won't charge, either from the USB port or using a stick on charging receiver and qi charging pad. HELP

My Samsung S3 won't charge. I assumed it was a faulty USB jack and ordered a wireless charging "stick on" receiver and charging pad. This doesn't work i.e. the phone doesn't charge. A fresh battery charged elsewhere operates the phone but wont charge in the phone either. Kindle and blackberry chargers dont work either. Any software suggestions? Should I reset the OS or similar? (Android novice)

It's unlikely that software or reset will fix the problem, but it won't hurt to try as I might be wrong.

But it's more likely to be an internal hardware problem.

Trying to reply to two or more different people can cause confusion.

Moreover, you start your own thread and it will show as unanswered on the board, so it's much more likely to receive a reply.
