my screen is blank

when i try to open my hp laptop in doesn''t open, just a blank screen.

Unplug everything from it. Take the battery out and press the power button for 15 seconds. Put battery back in, plug the ac adapter in and press the power button.

Older HP laptops = Nvidia graphics = fail

If its a DV6000/DV2000/DV9000 its time for a new laptop most likely

Just google something like "hp nvidia gpu failure G86"
