What happens, on a basic level, is that when I play music in the background while playing video games (usually on my Google Chrome browser and on YouTube), some sounds in the game cause the volume to distort strangely. It's very difficult to explain the distortion, but it's fixed as soon as I exit the game or turn off it's audio. Also, sometime the music becomes quieter seemingly randomly while playing. I'm using a Logitech G430 Gaming Headset for sound, with the microphone on, which I think might be part of the problem. Running on windows 8 64x.
