My toshiba c660 flush drive and mouse pad not working at all

Hi,

Here are some troubleshooting guide that may help in solving the issue.
- Start by doing a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try once it completely loads in the desktop screen do test if your Touchpad and USB drives will work.
- If it will not work connect an external USB keyboard and see if it will work or not.
- If the USB mouse will work try to uninstall/reinstall the Touchpad driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Touchpad driver.
- Reboot the laptop once the latest driver has been installed and it should reinstall the driver automatically.
- If it will not reinstall, download and install the latest driver from Toshiba's support site.
- Do test it again after the latest driver has been installed.
- If it will still not work run System Restore, restore your laptop back to an earlier date or time when the Touchpad was still working.
- Here's how to run System Restore: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-PH/windows-8/restore-refresh-reset-pc
- If System Restore will not work I would suggest reinstalling Windows itself.
