I recently moved my computer setup and no longer have a wired connection to the internet. My laptop shows that is connected to the wireless router but I am unable to get the internet. I have unplug and restarted the router, modem and computer and it still does not work. I also have another laptop that connects no problem. I have also made sure the wireless switch is turned on.

I have a cisco router and a cable modem and as long as the laptop is not connected to the wire the internet does not work. Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi mgazaleh,

Please try this following steps on how to connect to a wireless internet connection.

1. Go to the bottom right hand corner of your screen and look for the wireless icon.
2. Select the name of your wireless network.
3. Enter the password of your wireless network (if you have on set up).
4. Click connect.

Hope this answers your internet problem.
