My Toshiba laptop that I got 2 days ago has been stuck on the shutting down screen for 2 hours, any advice?

Hi,

Please do try and do a hard reset to shut it down completely. Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds until all the lights goes off.

I've seen that happen a lot with new computers it seems to be pretty normal so no worries. Just do what he said and it should work after that.
