Solved! My toshiba laptop won't turn on

About 2 or 3 days ago I tried to turn on my laptop and all that happens is the CAPS lock and NUM lock turn on and it makes the booting up sound but doesn't actually turn on... Please help !!!

If it is making sounds, then it is turning on. But if the sounds stop (and lights go out) then it is turning back off. Or if it keeps making sounds, but no screen, the problem may be the display.
