my vaio sony laptop wont click on the option!

when i want to connect my sony vaio laptop to the tv i click on "Fn" button and F7 and there is options to chose, but the problem is when i click on the "second screen only" or any other option to connect it to tv it wont click on the option. i tried many times but it wont work!. So any idea of whats going on with my laptop?!

That function button is not likely to be selectable by a mouse, they are overlays over the screen using the Sony software. It would be a toggle, hit the key again and it will toggle between the options.

if it's not selectable by a mouse, what would it be by? can you please explain more? i am confused with these things!

Hit the function key combo again and it should cycle through the options.
