My westinghouse lcd switches from hdmi to dvi on it's own and I lose my cable. Whats up?

What to do when my westinghouse tv goes from hdmi to dvi on I ty's own and I lose my cable picture?

Try turning CEC off in the TV menu.
CEC is a control system that works over HDMI. Since there isn't a strict standard it screws up more often then it works.
It's also possible that there is a shared remote control command for the TV and something else in your system.
