my wireless switch is not working properly....even though the switch is to the "on" side...still its not working...

You mean to say that you can't connect to any access point (you can't get wireless internet)? What does the icon in the lower right corner of your screen show for wireless connections?

You will need to give more information then that. As stated above, you need to check the icon and see if it is disabled or active and just not connecting to your wifi. If it is disabled and your switch is on, you may need to open the internet connections page and you can right click on the wireless connection and choose enable to re-enable it.

If it is enabled, just not connecting, you will need to debug the actual connection to your wifi... reset the router etc. Your post is just too vague to get a solid response about your issue
