My Zte phone

My Zte Grand \x turned itself off not it wont turn on & there are no lights when plugged in What could be wrong? Did it crash? Is it garbage?

First thing is try a different cord and charger. If that does not make it turn on, if it has a removable battery, re-seat the battery. You can also try to do a factory reset on the thing, but that will wipe the data.
