Nakamichi 582 sticking capstan motor

Hello, My Nakamichi 582 capstan motor doesn't always start rotating on power up, but a very light push on the capstan wheel and it's away. It is intermittent as though there is a "bald spot" when the armature stops at a certain position. Is it a new motor or will it respond to a squirt of switch cleaner ?

The capstan shaft must be removed and cleaned, lubed.
The belts probably need replacing.
DO NOT "shoot" cleaner into the machine.
