Need a Camcorder Recommendation

So I'm looking for an HD camera that can shoot at 1920x1080. I also want one with a harddrive, and possibly a manual focus ring (THe only one I have found that is non-pro level would be the JVC HD7). Im stuck between JVC, Panasonic, Sony, or Canon. It would be great to have one that captures fast motion well, which I heard may be difficult when buying a digital hard drive model. Any suggestions?

Perhaps, you will find that checking the camcorder ratings helpful. The expert reviews of different models might prove useful in giving you knowledge about certain products. I hope this helps.

Hey Monbackey, I suggest you avoid hard drive based models, as they've proven to be unreliable. If you want an HD camera that's really versatile, consider the Canon EOS 5D Mark II or the Nikon 90D. I know they're not camcorders in the technical sense (both are dSLRs), but they're video imaging capability allows you to use SLR lenses!
