Hey guys!

I'm looking into a new camera, preferably a DSLR. This is what Im looking for in specific:

-AT LEAST 14MP.

-A sensor with great natural light detection. I am going to be taking a lot of shots of people and landscapes, so I need a camera that won't need the flash when the sun is slightly lower in the sky.

-Takes 1080p HD video. I'd love to have both my camera and my camcorder combined into one device.

-Has a long battery life. Although I will buy spares, I need something that will hold up well for a long day without stopping.

Things I already have:

SD Card. A PNY 64GB card. (However if you have any other suggestions, Im willing to hear them)
Microphone.
Camera bag.

Thanks guys!

This (Nikon D3200) will serve your needs well: http://www.nikonusa.com/en/Nikon-Products/Product/Digital-slr-Cameras/25492/D3200.html

A good source is B & H Photo - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/856049-REG/Nikon_25492_D3200_DSLR_Camera_With.html

A word about portrait lenses. These are usually soft-focus fixed focal length lenses specially designed for portraiture. Quite expensive; usually over $1,000. Please contact Nikon USA regarding true portrait lenses. Too many people out there that call a medium telephoto lens a portrait lens because they use is for head and shoulder shots.
