Hi everyone!
I've been a reader of tomshardware since a long time, altought I never thought of registering (I don't know why) I become a member today.

So, I recently sold my Alienware m14x 6GB | GTX 555m | 2nd Gen. And now I am looking for a good laptop with graphic/video card. My usage has increased. I do a lot of Photoshop & Illustrator work as well as After Effects and Premiere video editing now. I cannot buy a PC because of portability issues I travel a lot. So, Hence I need a Laptop with Probably nVidia series 8 Graphic card (Maxwell) 4th Gen Has well ofcourse and decent RAM. The slimmer the better. DVD drive is not at all required.

Any suggestions?

Budget: $1000 - $1300.

Anyone would suggest Lenovo IdeaPadY510P.
Downside is the short 2h battery life, and I heard complaints about the WiFi drop and Lenovo customer support.

There are differences here:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834313684 [i5 CPU with 2x GT 755M
http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-IdeaPad-59385820-15-6-Inch-Laptop/dp/B00F32ZBN6 [i7 CPU with 2x GT 750M]
The amazon one has a faster i7, while the NewEgg one has a little more GPU performance boost, but only an i5. For video editing, a faster i7 would be better
