Hello, everyone,

I require a sturdy laptop for college.
I also design websites on this laptop and edit photos and movies for fun.

My main use of Software:
Photoshop
Dreamwiever
Lightroom
vlc
Ubuntu Studio (all free software)

My requirements are as follows:
GDDR 5 graphics,
8GB Ram,
SSD (Mainly for OS: any size since I have an external HDD)
Good contrast ratio for screen)
It need to be of sturdy build quality.

I have considered this laptops:
DELL inspiron-15-7537
HP Envy 15-k111TX
Apple Macbook Air 13 inch

Sorry, Forget to define my budget: It is 64,000 INR.(about 1030 USD).

Thank you all for your answers.

Define low cost. Those specifications are going to put you at above $1,000.

Huge SSD on this one:

$1400 Lenovo Y50-70 Laptop - 59421863 - Black: Weekly Deal

Great processor, Professional graphics

$1491 Dell M2800 + 1920x1080 screen +128GB SSD + 8GB of memory + i7-4810MQ

Honestly it is usually cheaper to buy the laptop with all the features you want, but without an SSD. Then add one yourself. They charge out the nose for doing it at the factory for some reason.
