Hi guys. I'm looking to buy a new laptop which I'd use for work but honestly mostly for games. I want a laptop which will be able to run current games and perhaps newer ones on decent settings at least for the next 4 years. Problem is I'm a student so my budget isn't great, and in my experience you only get the really good gaming laptops if you pay high. Most I've seen under 500 don't even have a dedicated graphics card. I have a few laptops in mind which I've listed below, and I'm trying to figure out which would be best. Obviously the more expensive one may be slightly better than the cheaper ones, but if the difference is negligible then I could save myself a lot of money. Would really appreciate if someone in the know could take a look at the ones I've listed and advise me! Or even if you know or any other laptop which may be more suitable.
1. What is your budget?
Probably can't go much above 600 pounds.
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
I would prefer something like 15.6 inches but I'm open to something else if it's perfect elsewhere!
3. What screen resolution do you want?
Not a huge issue.. Would prefer 1920x1080 but I could make do with less.
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
It's going to be used just like a desktop yes.
5. How much battery life do you need?
Not a huge issue since I mostly keep it plugged in.
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
Would like to play games like Guild Wars 2, Diablo 3, and the common ones like Skyrim etc on high settings. Obviously at certain times I may need to turn the settings down if I mod stuff or play with lots of people online.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Possibly video editing in the future but only casual stuff.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
Not a huge issue. Anything 500GB or over will do really.
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
Ok here's the deal. I'm looking at 4 laptops currently, with varying price ranges and specs.

The Lenovo and the HP have AMD A10 quad core processors and the MSI and ASUS have Intel i5. This is where I'm mainly getting into trouble because I'm trying to figure out which combination of processors, graphics cards, and RAM will work better for me, while trying to keep the price differences into consideration as well!
10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
Ideally it'd last me something like 5 years if I keep it properly maintained.
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
Not a huge issue. DVD rom/writer would be good enough.
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
Would prefer a brand that is 'tested' for gaming laptops, so to speak. Might not consider a Sony Vaio again, since my last one had overheating issues.
13. What country do you live in?
England.
14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
