I have Zebronics Iron Head 7.1 USB headphones. The software provided with it is not good enough and the result is that the positional audio seems thrash. I got better positional audio by using Razer Surround & Samsung earphones.
In the Razer Surround interface there is an option to auto detect USB headphones, but it says that my headphones are not supported. It seems that only Razer's USB headsets are supported.
Please tell me that is there a way I can fool Razer Surround into thinking that any supported USB headsets are connected, or is there any other software by which I can control my headphones? Please help.

No, you can't change the ID of your headset without breaking everything, since it's like asking to use an Nvidia graphics card with AMD drivers...

Best tip:
Get better STEREO headsets. The reason you get worse positional audio with "7.1" sets is that they are crap. A good set of headphones (ATH-40x, HD 558, etc) will give you the best possible positional audio for most modern games, since many offer binaural approximations.

From what I can find, the headphones you have are only stereo. Since they are a downgrade from your Razer headset, why not stick with Razer? Unfortunately Basroil is right. There is no way to trick the software into thinking your headphones are Razers. Not without some serious hacking skills.
