need advice for guying a new or used laptop...

I am looking for a laptop mostly for school and working. I would like An Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 sandy bridge and up. If used i might get a core 2 duo but it really depends on the specs and price. So far I have hit a wall and the Prices on Used laptops are so high and if buying anothers used laptop often the Windows Disk or Key is not included

Oh my, I did forget a price range, didn't I. Well if it was used I would not pay more than $300 and I really don't know for a new one. It would depend on the laptop and if there was a big sale on a good laptop. have seen laptops priced down from $999 to $599 on good hardware. I have not seen a deal like that to recently but I don't check prices every week. It would nice if There were good tech stores where I live.
