Need advice for new laptop

Solution
SLI is when they combine 2 graphics cards on you pc/laptop. While it increases the graphics performance it also generates more heat, and that's a problem you don't want. That Lenovo Y510 can't handle the cooling for 2 graphics cards when pushing it so you should get at least a cooling pad.

That particular model you sent doesn't seem to have the SLI cards but still a very good laptop. You are going to be able to play this year's demanding games on ~Medium (Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed IV) and others games on ~High (Titanfall, Elder Scrolls Online).

The SSD you can add yourself later BUT it got a hybrid SSD-HDD (according to a review) that should be enough.

It's a HDD with a little SSD in it o.o
If it's 16-24gb SSD memory than it's enough for your operating system and your laptop is going to be faster, but all your other data would be in the HDD. Overall it's faster than a regular HDD but not as fast as an SSD, and that's a cheap alternative (which some manufacturers use).
