Need Audio help

Help I have JVC DVD player. I have connected the red, green, and blue cord to both the tv and the Dvd player but have no sound. Only picture. I then also connected a red and white cord to them both but still have the same problem. Have tried every red and white hole in tv too.

Red, green and blue are for component video only. You will need another cable to connect red and white jacks As well.
