Need help between to laptops, never bought one

Hi, I plan on using this to be able to be in another room or bring it with me places. I have a desktop I will use for most part. I would probably use it plugged in so the battery life is not a huge concern. I will use e-mail, the internet, write papers, and play WOW.


ASUS N61JQ-XV1 i7 (1.73 GHz), 500GB HD, 4GB DDR3, ATI HD5730 runs about $899


MSI GX640-260US i5(2.40 GHz), 500GB HD, 4 GB DDR3 Radeon 5850 about $1,100

Any help is appreciated
