Hey guys I've been tasked with helping my parents purchse a new laptop as their old Acer has bit the dust. I really want to get them the most bang for their buck that I can. Their budget for it is around $500 maybe a little higher.I tried to talk them into building a dektop but they really want a laptop. I've been looking at newegg but I've been out of the laptop world for so long Im a little unsure. Well really its just the processors I'm unsure about. Im most familiar with the i'series family and feel something with an i5 would be great but idk what would be comprable performance on the amd side. And if there were a great AMD socket laptop that would be fine too. They mostly just browse the web and use it for taxes and other general use, BUT, I wanna buy something as if I would be using this for myself.
