Need help choosing a headset

I had the Turtle Beach X12s for almost 3 years now but they crapped out on me just yesterday morning so I decided to go get a new headset. I really liked the x12s because of their sound quality but I don't have a basis of comparison. I would like to know how these turtle beaches sound quality compares to the Steelseries Siberia v2 headset or anything else in a similar price range.

They say the siberia v2 sound quality isn't all that great but if its better than the turtle beaches then it'll be perfect for me. Just can't find any threads comparing the two. I don't really use the mic but I like being able to control the volume and bass.

the v2's have fair sound quality (for a gaming headset) but have poor build quality.

thoughts on the hyper x cloud or hxc2?

I ended up getting the v2s to save some money. Build quality still seems better than my turtle beach x12s.
