Hi guys, I've been contemplating buying a laptop for a long time now and ive narrowd my choices down to two I think, but im open to suggestions so please help me decide.
The minimum specifications im looking for are
CPU - i7 either 5th or 6th generation ( I dont think it makes that much of a difference right?)
GPU - Nvidia GTX GeForce 970M 3gb
RAM - 12GB ddr3 or4 not sure how it matters
Screen - Prefferably a 15.6" fullHD IPS display
Storage - 1tb hdd + 128 gb ssd

the two ive chosen are

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152948&ignorebbr=1 (5th gen i7)

http://www.xoticpc.com/asus-gl552vwdh74-eta-novdec-p-8760.html

I really like the msi but its too expensive
my budget is about 1250$ and is it wise to wait for blackfriday sales instead?

Processor? Slightly better battery life on the newer i7. Ram? It won't be much of difference in real world scenarios as other bottlenecks will be present before ram. Both laptops are great, but I don't think the inclusion of the new skylake processor is worth the extra cost. Wait for Black Friday? I would considering its so close.
