Hey everybody, I need some help finding a good gaming laptop for under $800. I like the ASUS G73Jh RBBX05, but it's too expensive. Here's what I'm looking for

- At least 15.6" Display
- ATI Radeon HD5870 Graphics card (willing to settle for something a little less powerful, but I prefer this one.)
- Intel Core i5 or i7 (CAN NOT be AMD)
- MUST be less than $800. My budget is $750, but I'm willing to go up to $800
- At least 500GB hard drive
- At least 4GB RAM

That's really all I need. I don't want a Dell though, as I have had multiple bad experiences with their computers. I would prefer for it to be able to handle new games at high or medium settings, but I have a PS3, so it won't need to handle anything like Battlefield 3 or anything that comes out on the consoles. I plan on buying it around Christmas time, so I might get a little Christmas discount, so please, nothing that will be out of stock. (eg. tech4less.com)

Thanks in advance.

Hi, 5870 is a pretty high end card, I can't find anything in x8xx range within your budget. So, I think you'll have to settle for a little less

Here's a few options:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834246152 first runner up after x8xx level
if you want to stick to amd gpu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834157885

and a little cheaper versions but from good "gaming" companies

obviously this is a general info type of thing, you don't have to buy from newegg, you might find better deals if you go directly through vendor or discount websites like dealstudio.com or...

this is just to give you an idea of what's available in your price range

Best of luck and I hope you find what you are looking for.

Thanks. I think I'm going to get the Lenovo with the NVIDIA GT555M.
