Need help I have an old asus a43sj that turns of after post

So my asus a43sj is having problems after the recent windows update my laptop stoped working, every time I start it up it shows the asus logo and not long after it turns off again.

I'm not sure what the problem is and really need help in reviving my laptop.

Should I replace the cpu or the whole motherboard?
Or is it a problem with the ram?

Curious, when you state you had to do a recent Windows update, what OS are you working with? 10? If so, I'd suggest that you see if reinstalling the OS after creating the bootable installer using Windows Media Creation Tools, averts the issue. We can then dig into a possible hardware issue if your system refuses to get past POST screen. On another note, can you get into BIOS and remain there indefinitely?

Use the win10 install media to get into the repair tool of windows and try repairung windows or load the last known good configuration with it.

As for entering bios is possible at times but mostly I just can't enter bios at all
