need help installing ssd on aa Asus laptop

hard disk died. trying to replace it a 1TB Firecuda solidstate disk.
Windows 7,8 and 10 does not see the drive.

Firecuda is not an SSD. It is a normal HDD that has an 8GB SSD read cache. You have no access to this cache space, only it controls what is copied there. It is known as a hybrid drive and this is why it did not cost $300+

Can you see if the firecuda is detect in another pc or with a USB adapter or enclosure?
