Need help on choosing between these two laptops!

hich of these laptops should I purchase?

One is an acer dual core i3-4005u processor whilst the other is a hp amd a8-6410apu quad core processor.

The hp has double the memory and slightly higher clock speed but the acer has 1mb more cache and a better battery life. The HP is cheaper and looks slightly better to me but most people seem to think the i3 is better than the amd a8. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Pop into PC world try them out take a movie with you play it listen to sound/video quality and try the mouse, keyboard etc..Open up other applications have them running in the background, listen for noisy fans etc,,,That is if they have them on display. I would normally go for a i3 as the memory is expandable to 16gb. The hp I think only goes to its 8GB check in-store.
