My current school laptop sucks, it freezes for around 3 minutes with 2 tabs open. Really hard to do school work.

I can't seem to find a good laptop for me, I will be using it for school and only school. (No games)

My max budget is $250. I would like to have windows 7 -10, and a battery life of at least 5 hours would be nice

Don't care:
if it's AMD or Intel
How small the hard drive is
How fat or thin it is
Or screen size.

I just need something that can have like a max of 5 tabs open and can type with out freezing with every keystroke

Thanks!

Sorry for the very late reply, my internet was down.

Here is my laptop: http://www.dell.com/us/dfb/p/latitude-e6400/pd

But here's the thing, I am pretty sure my school would frown upon me opening the back and taking and adding hardware to it.

I did look on earlier today on Amazon and I found this one, does it look like a decent laptop?

It's fine for the price, but if your current laptop actually belongs to the school, you can have their IT department look at it, may need a clean Windows setup and/or more RAM added.
