Need help regarding battery

HI,

I am new to this laptop stuff.
I recently buy a new lenovo z580 laptop.

I want to know mostly about battery.
I am a home user, should i run my laptop on mains? Will it decrease the battery life?

I want to know tips and suggessition regaring the battery life, please share..

the laptop has circuitry to stop charging the battery when it's 100% full, so there's no need to worry about it being plugged into the wall for extended periods of time

there's no rocket science knowledge needed here, just use the laptop as you see fit, regardless of how you use it, the battery has a shelf life of roughly 3 years, if you're lucky
