Need help with led tv concern

I have a 55" Samsung led tv. I turned it on and have no sound or picture. I have read that the main board is the problem. Can anyone verify that or help me with this concern.

If its under warranty take it back to the shop

That is a bit tough to verify without openeing it and checking, but yes the main board can cause this issue.
