Need help with my laptop

I have a toshiba windows 7 laptop and when I had tried to restart it I had accidentally hit the powder button and the screen went black. It won’t turn on now and I’m not quite sure what to do.

Uhhhhm. How long was it on for in a row. And when you say "It won't turn on" Do you mean like. No lights no fans no nothing? or does it get bios screen but no windows.
