Hi Guys,
I need some help with choosing my laptop. I will need this laptop for college and some causal gaming along the way.

1_What is your budget? My budget is anything below $1000.

2_What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? Around 13"-16".

3_What screen resolution do you want? As high as possible.

4_Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? Somewhere in between?

5_How much battery life do you need? At least 4 hours.

6_Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
Casual gaming so i guess Medium?

7_What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing, surfing the web, playing music, watching movies, Etc.)
Music
Surfing the web
Photoshop

8_How much storage (H.D.D Capacity) do you need?
At least 7200 RPM and 250GB HDD

9_If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post the links to them.

10_How long do you want to keep your laptop? At least 4 years.

11_If you would like to mention some other things about purchasing your ideal laptop, post them.
An ideal color would be gray, silver or black. Nothing too heavy (over 7 lbs). Must have decent graphics card. A slim/sleek design would be nice =).

12_Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
I'm open to all kinds of suggestions

13_What country do you live in?
United States

Thanks for your time.

Thanks for the help I think I have a laptop in mind but I'm not totally sure I'm stuck between these Five laptops.. Any recommendation one which would be the best would be greatly appreciated.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220559 <-- I might going with this one but I've tried searching up the graphics card and didn't get much info. Any ideas on the specs of Geforce GT 220M? Or is it just a typo...

http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Graphics-Cards-Benchmark-List.844.0.html
hmm... for the choice of laptop i would go with.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220521
or a smaller screen
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220519&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-Notebooks-_-ASUS-_-34220519
just because both have the Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 which is 2.4GHZ and 3mb L2 Cache comparing to 2mb cache youll see a difference in performance there and the FSB is 1066MHZ.. And the P series draw 25W comparing to 35W like the T series, and usually t series is 667FSB-800FSB...
and for the video card for both of them its nvidia GT130 the link will show you where it stands for performance wise but heres the link for the card it will play almost all games on high so youll be good with that..
http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-130M.13789.0.html

Prob go with the bigger screen for better resolution. your choice i hoped i helped.
