Question Need Help!!!

Hi there, I have a laptop that when i plug it to its charger with/without its battery, it won't power on nor will it indicate that it is plugged in or charging for that matter. When left plugged in for about 30-60 mins it will then indicate that it's plugged in and allow me to power it on. Can anyone tell me what's causing this to happen?

I'll just throw this out there, not sure if this is your model but some laptops use the power cord thru the battery to power the unit. best way too look at it is current goes into battery, laptop sucks current out of battery. So if you battery is completely discharged then not enough juice to start laptop, you must wait for a charge. (like when car battery is dead) Most laptops will power from charger and charge as well. One way to test is to remove battery, will laptop run with charger plugged in.
