Ok so I am looking into building this amp here http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/033/index.html. It looks pretty cool and it should do the job for my 4ohm speakers. I understand the fact that if I have 2 speakers I will need to make two of them to power both of my speakers. But the only problem is I will be making 4, I have 4 speakers. But how could I power these? I definitely do not want to use a battery, I want to connect them into my 240v wall socket. I will need a transformer or something similar and it will need to change the power from VAC to VDC as well. I probably would need 4 separate transformers as well so I don't want to go out buy 4 different transformers that cost me $40 each. Does anyone know where I could get a transformer that would work for me that is cheap? I could even possible make them. Thankyou

You need a power supply for these not just a transformer. To drive four of them you will need a 48v DC power supply of about 8 amperes (about 400 watts) to maximize the output of the chip amp. If doing this cheaply is your goal I don't think this will work for you.
A board like this one

is much more powerful and can be used with a step down tranformer alone to power it
Or you can use one like this which is 4 channels
http://www.parts-express.com/yuan-jing-tda7850-4-x-50w-audio-amplifier-board--320-6516
and since it operates at a more common 12- 14v dc you can find a power supply for it much more easily and...
