Hey guys,

I have an ancient Dell Inspiron I got back in 2007 which has been connected to my TV and exclusively used to watch HD movies.
Lately, I find that it is unable to play even the lightest x265 movies (600-800mb in size) so I guess it's time for me to hit the market for a new one.
Now, what do I need? Is it true that even core i5 CPUs can't handle this HEVC guy? How about the GPU? Anybody knows if Intel's integrated graphics series can do the job?

I'd love to hear your experiences as well as expert opinions

Solution
For just play back, any number of newer devices can handle HEVC. The link below has a list of processors and GPU's that support it.
