need to upgrade processor in acer aspire 5100 series laptop

from my research on your problem the only processor you could upgrade to that would be any better would be the Turion 64 x2 TL-68

however like the previous post above said it will be expensive.

at the same time i recommend just getting a new computer for a little bit more than you will be paying for this processor, then everything will be better

You're probably better off getting a new laptop all together. No one really sells mobile processors, and getting your hands on one will probably cost you as much as a new laptop.
