Needing to buy a new gaming headset

Dont really want to spend more than a 100$ i dont have any fancy sound cards or anything so i feel like that would be a waste to spend more. I have been using turtle beach x12 for like 4 years now, looking forward to the new tech. Anyway from what i read the best headset atm in the 100$ range is hyper x cloud? Most people recommend the old one is the cloud 2 inferior? Are there any better gaming/music headsets out there in this price range?

Those are great headsets, but I've heard good things about Audio Technica's M30X

AudioTechnica make some great headsets eg M50 and M40. So I'd say its a good chance.
