Recent reports of a woman from Scotland that was tested by a London hospital and able to accurately smell Parkinsons disease from body odours of 12/12 people that she was tested on including one where the medical staff had no indications of the disease from their standard tests, makes this sound very interesting. Anyone know if this could be further developed inline with what the hospital are trying to achieve for testing/diagnosing purposes?

When I spoke to the company they were definitely considering medical applications. This specific example wasn't brought up, though if the molecules in body odor that caused this woman to identify Parkinson's could be identified, maybe it could be added to their smell database. Sounds like it's a long way out, though.
